Frequently asked questions.

Answers to the questions people most often have before starting a project inquiry.

Which service might fit my situation?

Custom website design supports customer-facing credibility and action — it's the right starting point when the website itself needs to build trust or move visitors toward a decision. Business automation replaces repeatable manual steps with consistent, rules-based workflows. A lightweight business application supports a specialized process that needs its own interface, permissions, or business-specific rules — something spreadsheets and off-the-shelf software can't quite support. You do not need to choose before submitting a project inquiry; that's part of what the initial conversation helps clarify.

Will my website use a pre-designed template?

No pre-designed template determines the structure or visual direction of your website. Each site is designed around the business, its audience, the content it needs to carry, and the goals it needs to support. Proven platforms and technical components are still used where they provide the right foundation — the difference is that the structure, hierarchy, and visual direction are not inherited from a template.

How is a project priced?

Project pricing is based on the approved scope. As a general guide: a single-page site starts at $1,200. Most multi-page business sites run $6,000 to $8,000. Projects with ecommerce, events, a gallery, or a lightweight CRM built in can run up to $15,000. After the necessary discovery, you receive a fixed proposal identifying the deliverables, responsibilities, timing, cost, and any third-party expenses. Scope changes are presented for approval before additional work begins.

What if an existing product would work?

I will recommend it. If an existing product can support the need with reasonable configuration, there is no reason to build a custom replacement — recommending a good existing tool over a custom build is part of the job. Business automation may still be useful even then, when manual steps remain between otherwise-good tools. Custom development is worth considering only when the process genuinely requires its own interface or business-specific rules that existing software can't reasonably provide.

What should I include in an inquiry?

Share what prompted you to get in touch, who the work needs to support, what is happening now, and what you want to accomplish. A completed scope, technical recommendation, or fully defined project plan is not expected at this stage — that's worked out together during discovery and scoping.

What happens after I submit?

I review every inquiry personally. If the work appears to be a suitable fit, I will contact you to arrange an initial conversation. If it falls outside Digital Done Right's services, I will let you know directly rather than leaving you waiting. Expect to hear back within 2 business days — sooner if it's a quick fit either way.

Do you offer ongoing or fractional support?

Yes. Digital Done Right offers Fractional Digital Partner engagements for businesses that need continuing help across websites, automations, integrations, lightweight tools, and digital process improvements but do not need a full-time technical role. This is not a traditional managed-IT/help-desk service. The level of support, expected capacity, responsibilities, and priorities are agreed in advance.
